  • the city of Lubbock Code of Ordinances chapter 16 article 13 as amended requires that this vehicle be operable license and inspected or removed outside the city limits within 10 days of this notice

  • Spoke with CoL building inspection on 4/2/2014.
  • Person taking call told me I needed to speak with Jessica, their Residential Planning Advisor.
  • Later determined to be Jessica Morgan
  • CoL FAQ: "Do I Need A Permit?"
  • Essentially, the construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, movement, demolition, or change of occupancy classification of a building or structure, or the erection, installation, enlargement, alteration, repair, removal, conversion or replacement of any electrical, gas, mechanical (heating, ventilating, air-conditioning) or plumbing system, if regulated by any one of the adopted codes or ordinances, will require a permit PRIOR to the work being performed.   • “Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit.”

      • Fences not over 7 feet (1829 mm) high.
      • Oil derricks.
      • Movable cases, counters and partitions not over 5 feet 9 inches (1753 mm) in height.
